Comcast Cares Day coming to Marana

Comcast Cares Day Tucson-1590

Comcast celebrates its 14th annual Comcast Cares Day on April 18 and 25 with hundreds of volunteers working across Marana.

Since the first Comcast Cares Day, volunteers have donated countless hours cleaning, painting, planting and more and this year will be no different. There are numerous projects from which to choose at two Marana Unified School District schools. In addition to the difference that Comcast Cares Day volunteers make through physical effort, Comcast will donate grant money for every registered volunteer. More volunteers mean more money for each organization.

Register by March 31 and receive a Comcast Cares Day T-shirt on your volunteer day.

  1. Hello. I have a friend who just heard about this event at Marana High School this Saturday but did not sign up in time due to the last minute knowledge of event. How can he sign up still? Or can he just show up to this event? Thank you

    • Hi, Heather. My understanding is that there are lots of people who have signed up for this weekend. Your friend could still go and register on site, but the people at Comcast seem to be having a harder time recruiting volunteers for next Saturday’s event at Estes Elementary School. Of course, it would be a great help if the person could assist either day, so that’s his call. Thanks for asking.
