More than 3,000 attendees, great music, excellent food and exciting rodeo events? We’ll call that a success.
The first Marana Harvest Festival last Saturday was a good time in the park for residents and visitors. The Town worked with Gladden Farms to host the event at the Marana Heritage River Park and people showed up in droves. Not even record-breaking heat (95 degrees?!) could keep them away.
The Town thanks Freedom RV for serving as the signature sponsor and Miss Marana, Kieran Noe, for being the event emcee. Next year’s event promises to be bigger and better, so be on the lookout for an announcement about the date.

Next up on the community event calendar is the Holiday Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting at the Marana Municipal Complex on Dec. 6. The evening features a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, entertainment by local choirs and dance troupes, a food truck rally and an improved light display. Miss Arizona, Alexa Rogers, is the emcee.
