The temporary rodeo arena is up, the toddler hay bale maze is ready, flowers and trees are planted, lights are hung and the dance floor is primed for a boot-scootin’ night. The Marana Harvest Festival is only a day away.
The free event is sponsored by Freedom RV and lasts from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Marana Heritage River Park (12375 N. Tangerine Farms Road). Live music will be provided by Guys & Dahls from 5:30-7:30; Crazy Heart takes the stage after that until 10 p.m. The University of Arizona Rodeo Club is pulling triple duty by hosting a $10 steak fry, rodeo demonstrations and mutton bustin’ for kids.
A farmers market, petting zoo, balloon glow and S’mores roast round out the attractions. The festival promises to be a good time for the whole family.

See you at the park tomorrow.
