Quiet … for now

Things were a little quiet at the Marana Heritage River Park this weekend but all that will change Monday morning. Final preparations start first thing tomorrow for the Marana Harvest Festival, which is coming Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The event, held for the first time, features a day and evening of free fun for the whole family. Come to the park for live music, a steak fry ($10 apiece, tickets available at Freedom RV‘s Marana location and the Marana Municipal Complex), petting zoo, balloon glow, hay bale maze, S’mores roast, barn dance, rodeo demonstration and farmers market.

Kieran Noe, Miss Marana 2014, is the event emcee. Wi-Power is providing free wifi service throughout both even locations, including Gladden Farms Community Park. Comcast and the University of Arizona Rodeo Club are also supporting the event.

The event is sponsored by Freedom RV and held in conjunction with the Gladden Farms community.

Come to gather in Marana this Saturday for a great time with friends and family.
