The Marana Regional Landfill is hosting its first public access day for Town residents that Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free access will be granted to anyone who lives in Marana; a driver’s license or utility bill from the location where the waste was generated is needed for identification.
Disposal is limited to two tons of residential waste per household. Commercial size vehicles are prohibited and waste generated at a place of business will have standard rates applied.
Devices containing freon (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioning units), electronics (TVs. computers, monitors), oils, paints, car batteries, tires and hazardous waste will not be accepted.
The Marana Regional Landfill is located at 14508 W. Avra Valley Road.
