MUSD taking part in free meals program


The Marana Unified School District is participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program, serving free breakfast and lunch meals to children during the month of June.

Any child under the age of 18 is welcome to come in to any of the schools listed below for a free breakfast and/or lunch during the times given.

June 3-June 13, Monday-Thursday, Marana Middle School, 11285 W. Grier Road

Breakfast: 8 a.m.–8:30 a.m.

Lunch: 11:15 a.m.–Noon

June 3-June 27, Monday-Thursday, Estes Elementary, 11280 W. Grier Rd.

Breakfast: 7:40 a.m.–8:30 a.m.

Lunch: 11:15 a.m.–12:45 p.m.

June 3-June 28, Monday-Friday, Butterfield Elementary, 3400 W. Massingale

Breakfast: 8 a.m.–8:30 a.m.

Lunch: 11:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

The Summer Food Service Program for Children is a federally funded program operated nationally by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered by MUSD and other agencies. Marana Unified School District qualifies for this program by having a high percentage of families that fall within the free and reduced income standards.
