Tiger Woods spent his weekend honing his game with a golfer who’s even more famous than him: President Obama. The two paired up in Florida, marking the second time Woods has played with a president (Clinton being the other).
“He’s a pretty good athlete and we all know he played a lot of hoops,” Woods said. “He hit it well and we didn’t play under the easiest conditions. He’s got amazing touch. He can really chip and putt.”
Woods said he and the president won their match. He hopes to carry that momentum into tomorrow when he takes on Charles Howell III in the opening round of the Accenture Match Play Championship in Marana.
