White Christmas in Marana? Not likely

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration tracks all kinds of things. In many ways, NOAA is the ulimate authority on all things weather.

One thing the men and women there can say almost for certain is that, yet again, Marana and the surrounding region will not see a White Christmas (defined as an inch or more that sticks to the ground). The national forecast can be found
here.

With less than a 10 percent chance of Marana snow — let’s be honest, the likelihood is more like zero percent — Santa and his reindeer will have to be happy landing on dry rooftops with just a hint of chill in the air. But that’s one of the reasons we all live here, right?
